This is a real news story that aptly tells us the first reason sheep need a shepherd: because sheep are dumb. Two of these reasons are related to the brain of a sheep and the other is related to its body. They’re actually kind of pathetic, entirely dependent upon a shepherd for at least three reasons. I dont know if there is anything simialr on FBīut on Twitter we have been using #dogsonleads to highlight the cases of worrying, and it is certainly helping to get awareness out there, the campaign was started By Farmers Guardian, and Both Ben Briggs and Olivia Midgely have done huge amounts to highlight the problem, and both will if asked, cover local stories of continued dog attacks, we need them on side, otherwise these stories are rarely picked up by the nationals, like this one has been.Īlso one off cases are still, seldom reported to the police, while some may not think it is worth it, it does help and builds up a bigger picture, but you need to report it as Livestock Crime, insist that livestock crime is put on the report, or it gets filed away as miscellaneous. ![]()
